Ok, here is a quick report:
After replacing 11 caps (work doesn't leave much spare time) I tried to check
the status by remounting it and giving power. Nothing happened, no sound at
all. At this point I decided to review and retouch the soldering I had already
done and after this I was able to hear the start sound again.
Now I have recovered at least the same behaviour I had at the beginning but
this means that the Pb100 doesn't work yet. There are still many caps to
replace and I still hope.
During the replacement I could notice that all the 47uF had some amber liquid
right below them, now I will attack the 10uF. If I remember correctly from your
previous email, you replaced them all, didn't you?
Anyway, I am having much fun!
One more thing, I will take a picture of the hidden side of the motherboard and
I am interested in comparing it with some other, there are some wired
connections that don't convince me much. May you take one too and post it?
