Hi, Thanks once more for your detailed information. Let me take this chance to give some status on my re-capping activities: I have replaced almost all the SMD caps on the motherboard and the CPU card, one cap is still missing, maybe I will do it later. The Pb100 still doesn't work so I will move to replace the non-SMD ones. I see you write about the screen, are there caps there too? It means I will have to open the LCD case too...ok, more fun to come.
I will be away from the pb100 for few days, once back home I will let you know more about my progress. Have a nice day Sent from my iPad On Aug 10, 2013, at 23:52, Hardware Mack <[email protected]> wrote: > http://68kmla.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=21751 > > ok i completed a complete cap break down of the Powerbook 100, > all the details are in the link. > > Right now this is just the Mainboard and CPU > The Screen i will do later. > > > On Aug 5, 2013, at 4:32 PM, Jason Johnson wrote: > >> If you see visible leakage then cleaning is in order as the electrolyte can >> short out traces on the motherboard.
