Thanks once more for your detailed information.
Let me take this chance to give some status on my re-capping activities:
I have replaced almost all the SMD caps on the motherboard and the CPU card, 
one cap is still missing, maybe I will do it later. The Pb100 still doesn't 
work so I will move to replace the non-SMD ones.
I see you write about the screen, are there caps there too? It means I will 
have to open the LCD case too...ok, more fun to come.

I will be away from the pb100 for few days, once back home I will let you know 
more about my progress.
