Umm, wouldn't that be kind of hard? I mean, I admit here I don't know all
that much about programming. But, if it's written specifically for System 6
and Finder, then wouldn't you have to end up changing A LOT of stuff in the
source code? Also, that seems like a fairly complex solution to Steff's
original question, especially because editing source code isn't exactly
common knowledge.

Steff, for curiosity's sake, have you tried opening the file as-is under
System 7 yet? What happens when you do so?
