Bit of a stretch here, folks, but an Agfa SCSI scanner hijacks the external SCSI chain on a G3 beige running OS X. Once the scanner is merely turned off but not disconnected, the full height 10G Seagate (shoehorned into an SE case acting as both case and PSU) is seen by the OS X. The scanner has Id 0, the drive is Id 1. The scanner works under OS 9.1, but I know OS X has little or no (?) external SCSI support. Cheers George
