They use the argument that they "could" sell it,
if they wanted to. Therefore any unlicensed copy
represents "lost revenue potential". Hmmm, sounds
like some of what Enron was up to. Counting their
income before it actually came in, if it was ever
actually going to come in or not.

To analogize a little, Ford "could" make brand new
copies of a 1965 Mustang and sell them, but the
chances of it ever happening are nil to none. Yet
they've been one of the "best" auto companies in
making aftermarket parts suppliers pay fees to
produce parts for vehicles that haven't been made
for many years and there's a 99.9999999% chance
they never will be made again exactly like the
original.
