Bah, what a lie! I was running System 7.5.5 on my IIci connected to a PC with 98SE using ICS. Had to manually assign IP addresses to the Mac and for TCP/IP bound to the PC's network card. (NOT TCP/IP bound to the virtual "dial-up adapter.)
