Don't know what you mean by a "Windows network." Do you mean that one of 
your Windows machines us acting as a network server or router for the 
rest of the machines?

But, just adding an ethernet card to the LCIII won't allow it to "talk" 
to Windows based machines. If you network uses a hardware router you may 
be able to connect the LCIII ethernet card to the router directly and 
access the Internet that way.

>From Mac OS 7.1, I believe you need to add Open Transport to get TCP/IP 
functionality to readily access the Internet, however, without a LOT of 
hassle, the easiest means of doing so would be through a hardware router.
