Hi, I connected this external CD drive to my IIsi but CDs inserted don't show in the Desktop. The drive is the last device in the SCSI chain: Zip Drive (ID 5 & termination OFF) CD drive (ID 2 with terminator).
The Zip discs mount OK. In the Extensions folder (OS 7.5.5) I have these installed: Audio CD Access Foreing File Access High Sierra File Access ISO 9660 File Access
Am I missing any software? Thanks.

I didn't see you mention the Apple CD Extension. Also, make the CD ROM SCSI ID 3.

There is an extension I didn't mention named "Apple CD-ROM". There is no "Apple CD Extension". Should there be one?
It's a CD recorder. I was going to try switching the SCSI ID, as you suggested, but now it seems the HD is dying!! It makes no spinning sound, and I'm getting the floppy with a blinking "?"
Thank you,
Harold
