I'm not sure if the 10/100 is full duplex. How do you tell?
I also think I installed OT 1.1.2 over 1.1. It shows up as running 1.1.2 in the info screen. Would that make a difference?
How can you see if the ethernet card is even being acknowledged by the Mac?

Did you install OT 1.1.1 then 1.1.2? You have to do it that way since Apple has never released 1.1.2 as anything but an update to 1.1.1.
Have you tried different cables? Certain you're not using a crossover cable and that the cable is wired correctly? It's possible to wire a cable so that all the wires connect straight through but have it not work. The twisted pairs have to be together so they're all signal-ground pairs.
