I'm wondering about this myth as well. I have 10.3 running on two G3 macs
a PowerBook Lombard with only 256 mb of ram and a 40 gb hd and a B&W G3
450 server w/1 gb ram that I bought on eBay for next to nothing. I use CS
on both and can't say I notice any speed issues at all the 450 G3 seems to
run just as fast as my G4 running 9.2.1 and seems to start faster. Maybe
it's the dual scsi raided drives?
