You read my mind! We do know from the "Apple Clone Wars" that Apple previously released their operating system to licencing. The problem was that "clones" started to sell cheaper and sometimes with better cross-platform options as far as third-party accessories (i.e. they accepted PC keyboards and mice). Apple raised their rates until nobody could afford to licence Mac OS anymore. What's with this 'processor emulation with no speed loss' business? Doesn't anyone think those high-end science clusters Apple sold to Universities will bog down?
