I have my local radiator shop perform this for my Bug tanks but I have done motorcycle tanks many times myself. Yamaha makes a good 2 part (etch and sealer) product under their Yamaha parts brand. Don't think it was overly expensive either. I think I may have a bottle of the sealer still if you want a part number.
I understand that the people that make POR also sell a great system. -----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Mar 15, 2007 3:55 PM >To: Vintage VW <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Karmann Ghia Club <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: [vintagvw] cleaning and/or sealing a gas tank? > >Hello all, > >Does anyone have any experiences (good or bad) >with cleaning and/or sealing a gas tank?
