Erin I used to run my 2165 for some time with a single weber IDF. I am in Vancouver where the weather is mild but often damp in the winter. The single with that engine had lots of torque. I was running an Engle 110 and still had heater boxes so the whole setup was a bit restricted.

I know in theory you should be able to build a nice Berg 2180 and bog it down with a nice single barrel carb but I know of no actual proven combination one can use. I've thought of doing like a 1915 with a Weber progressive but I read and hear dual opinions. I don't want to run to duals and I want chokes. So what does that limit me to? Maybe a stock engine with a DLI blower? LOL! I love the reliability of the stock setup but would love a little more power as well. Thanks for the insights.
