Okay so the single barrels get horrible gas mileage on larger displacement/multi-cylinder engines. I do have a set of dual carbs with chokes I bought for my bus. I just don't care for duals from a maintenance standpoint on a daily driver. Maybe I'll just do a 1776 with a larger jetted 34-pict-3 and be done with it. Should be nice and modest.
