I used to go mountainbiking with Rob years ago, then we both got busy with life (him with a new baby and his non-ACVWs and me with a new wife and watching the $ disappear accordingly ;-)) We still email offlist. I also have frequent emails with Aaron Ness, who owns a Chevy Suburban and is on a Chevy list with me. Met him once (or twice?!?) on a visit to San Diego. I bumped into Bill May a couple times at local shows or swapmeets, many years ago, pre-2000 I think? I also met up with a former listee whose name is escaping me right now... Youger fellow, opened his own VW shop and eventually teamed up with Rocky Mountain Motor Works (or vice versa). He came through San Diego with a church choir group he was part of. Shoot, this is gonna bug me (no pun intended ;-)) all day. _dennis (back to lurk mode) ```````````````````'''''''''''''''''''' Dennis Wahlgren El Cajon, CA The VW Boneyard http://members.cox.net/dr.overkill/buggy http://www.sci.sdsu.edu/c-beach/bug.html _______________________________________________ vintagvw site list [email protected] http://lists.sjsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/vintagvw
