I'm not so sure. I don't recall the original speedo in
my `69 having an ATF temp light position - I replaced
it years ago with a later-model one (which DOES have
the ATF lamp hole) to get an odometer that showed
tenths of a mile - early `69s lacked that feature.
My son commandeered my speedo collection a few years
back when he was on a kick of building custom
faceplates, I'll have to get him to return them long
enough for me to have a look.
BTW, you'll find the production date (month/year - of
the speedo, not necessarily that of the car it left
the factory in) inked on the housing.
