Yes, the brake lights, horn, and gas gauge work.
It must have been a loose connection: This morning my signals work. I will go
through the connections and clean/tighten them.
I will also clean my fuse contacts. I don't need my signals to go out half way
to school (35 miles one-way)
Thanks for the specific advice. It the symptom reappears I'll know what to
look for.
BTW. My beetle is only partially un-molested, as it has a auto-stick speedo but
no auto-stick. It doesn't have the test connection in the engine compartment,
nor does it have buzzers for seat belts or ignition, and has extra wires for a
tach. And my vent fan doesn't work.
