My '67 had a couple of these rivets ripped out of the door due to rusty 
hinges and a former owner forcing the door back and forth against the 
rust. The rivets finally fatigued.

Flathead screws and locking nuts with washers fixed the problem once the 
remains of the offending rivets were removed.
