Asad, You're not the only restorer that's finding it difficult-to-impossible to locate early bumpers suitable for re-chroming. I, too, have '59 euro ragtop bug (in the US) that I'm restoring, and need good,original german bumpers for. I plan to use euro-blades (even harder to find in the US!) with short over-riders (also rare) for my project. I've found 4 NOS german short overriders (thankfully!), and have a used rear german euro-blade, but I still need a good used german front euro-blade. I have considered buying the expensive stainless steel repros that are now currently available, but I prefer original german partsover any others. I guess beggars can't be choosers, tho........ Can I help you somehow? I do have some parts here.
