If the grub screw comes loose, the torsion arm could move in and out, but would not just flop up/down in the beam unless the spring leaves have broken.? Not sure whether the piece that is in the torsion arm that slides over the torsion leaves is somehow pressed into the torsion arm, or actually a machined part of the arm.
