As far as getting burned out Bill May...take a break. I did for 9 years and I'm glad I did. You are the most knowledgeable person I've ever run across with the VWs. I wish you would write a book with every possible tidbit you can think up. When the time comes that we can't ask you questions about stuff, you're going to be sorely missed.
My new wife and I are going to restore a 1963 beetle and it will be her car to drive around. I want it done like Herbie but she wants it done in black. So we will have to restore 2 so we can each have our own color. :) I need you around Bill so when we tackle those projects, we can give you a holler so don't take off. But I strongly suggest a break from all things VW and go enjoy another facet of life devoid of VWs. You'll never know how much you enjoyed something until you give it up. If you miss it, it's meant to be and if you don't, it wasn't your thing in the first place.
