Hello,

You are correct. The vast majority of sighted people much prefer to interact 
directly with the touch-screen. Touching something and directly manipulating it 
is much more comfortable.

I actually find the same to be true for myself now that I have trained myself 
to fully use the touch-screen. My typing is done through a bluetooth braille 
keyboard for long typing, but I use the onscreen keyboard for short messages or 
when I don't have my braille keyboard available.
