Hi RDLW,
        Try entering the ip address subnet mask router ip address and the dns 
setting manually so for example if you router is using the ip address range of 
192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.254 set your iphone to an ip address that no other 
device is using if all devices are getting there Ip Address's via dhcp you 
should be able to go into your router and there will be a section where you can 
check what address are being assigned so if your router is assigning address's 
as above give your Iphone an Ip address of 192.168.1.15 subnet mask of 
255.255.255.0 router ip 192.168.1.1 and Dns is the same as the routers address 
but I use the Google Dns servers which are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 all these 
setting are manual ones give it a go and let me know how you get on. And what 
model and brand is your router.
