In that case, it makes sense that because of the jailbreak, mail isn't working. A note to all wood be jailbreakers though, it's not the jailbreak, it's the tethered jailbreak which causes issues because if you don't plug in when rebooting, you will be out to sea without a paddle or gas in the motorboat.
