Hi, Pressing the Sleep-Wake button on my iPHone 4S 5 times does cause it to reset more quickly than a regular reset. I use this procedure when Siri goes into that state where it won't respond when I press the Home button. Someone on the list mentioned this procedure a few months ago, and I've found it quite effective. Is there really a chance of it causing corruption of some kind?
