Motion X GPS Drive does really well for pedestrian navigation. Depending on
how much it will get used, there is a monthly fee or a yearly fee, and I
also have Ariande. The one problem with Ariande is that in the one place I
have used it with one way streets, it frequently has the block I am in wrong
by at least one block and sometimes two blocks. Other than that, this app
is great.

Subject: Pedestrian Navigation

Greetings all,

I'm new to the group, I'm legally blind and live in Texas.

I've yet to find a GPS app that delivers reliable directions or even
orientation for blind pedestrians. I saw Ariadne referenced in Apple's
recent keynote but know nothing about it. I met the developer of LookTel's
forthcoming Breadcrumbs app at NFB and I'm really excited about that. Any
other suggestions?

Thanks!

~Seth~
