Each application on the iPhone only has access to it's own space in memory and on storage, so there is no way you can use something like a file browser to see what's on your iPhone.

The best way to explore what's on your iPhone and move content over to it is with iTunes.

You can use DropBox and other cloud based technologies but then you're restricted to the access those apps on your iPhone provide or other aps that support DropBox.

Hi folks.

I'm a new iPhone user with tons of previous Windows experience. On the
PC, I'm used to being able to explore the folders and files in Windows
Explorer.

Is there a way to do that on the iPhone?

Related question: what's the best way to simply move files and folders
to and from the iPhone, preferably over WIFI? Dropbox? iTunes? Something
else?

thanks
