Hi Mary, I, too got a nice surprise when fiddling with Apple Music yesterday.
Since this thread came up yesterday, I did a search on the Bach Brandenburg
concertos from the Academy of St. Martin In The Fields, which I purchased on
CD at Tower Records in Westwood back in 1994. I promptly added it to my
library, then went looking for some of my favorite Mozart string quartets and
found some, but I don't know if they match the recordings that I also bought at
Tower.
I'm still very interested in what the new Apple Music service has to offer but
will reserve judgment regarding going beyond the free trial. As some have
already said, selection is hit and miss and I certainly won't use Siri for
music searches. Siri's very handy for some things but downright stupid for
others.
Oh yeah, and as a side note, I did a search and couldn't find ANY Beatles
albums: not one. Hmmm.
