I'v done some beta testing in my life time because I wanted to help out and because I wanted to play with the latest and greatest. Sometimes, that meant that I was going to run into trouble. Then I had to make my report and wait for instructions. Sometimes they wanted me to try this, that, or the other. Sometimes I was able to get out of it myself and had to document the steps I took to get out of it so that others could verify my findings. I enjoyed myself wile doing it.
