Several years ago, when Apple was beginning to make iTunes for Windows accessible,it was G. W. Micro that worked with them to start the process. I don't remember if Apple chose G. W. Micro, or if G. W. Micro initiated the contact. But Apple's recommending Window Eyes as the preferred screen reader has been in effect for quite a while. I use Jaws, and no virtually nothing about Window Eyes, but I remember reading that Window Eyes does not work as well with iTunes as it once did. I hope Window Eyes has been updated to correct this problem.

Subject: Nearly impossible to update/verify payment information in iTunes

Please forgive the cross post, but this issue could negatively impact
a lot of iTunes users.

Yesterday I was asked to verify my payment information in iTunes. But
when I attempted to do it, I was unable to complete the required
fields for credit card expiration or to check the appropriate radio
button for my chosen card.

When I wrote to Apple accessibility, I received the following response.

"Hello,
Thank you for your email. At this time Apple includes support for the
Window-Eyes screen reader in iTunes. Other screen readers may require
an update.
If you find that another screen reader is not working correctly,
please check with the application developer to see if they have an
update for the software.

Apple Accessibility"

What kind of response is that?

Please write to Apple about this issue.

Best,
Kimber
