If the case has some give, it will work. I have a Speck Candy Shell case, and it fits both phones. A harder case I had for my 6 did not fit my 6S. It depends on how it is made.
I would think the Otter Box would fit both, maybe the 6S better. Perhaps the air pocket issue would be resolved with a slightly thicker 6S.
