Hi,
when the cases for the 6's and 6Plus's came out there was a great deal of
trouble with the protector not lying as flat against the front face of the
phone as it had in prior models. Many users thought this was due to the thin
film that was now covering the home button through which the fingerprint
censor would still work.
I haven't consulted more recent reviews of the cases for the 6s's and
6sPlus's to see if the problem persists as when it happened with the prior
models I went with a different case. It is the unicorn beetle line from
SupCase. It's similar to the defender cases at a slightly lower price point.
I wouldn't say it's exactly in the same class as the defender but if you're
not involved in construction work or dropping your device from great heights
you might make out just fine with this model as I have. All cases I've
purchased for myself and others of this range have lain flat against the
face of the phone in terms of its built in screen protector portion. the
home button fingerprint censor portion of this case is open as it had been
in earlier models of the otterbox defender cases.

Do the Otterbox defender cases really have air pockets, like a lot of people
seem to be saying, or is that just one person or two people that had a
problem, and now it's getting hyped way out of hand? The reason I want the

I had a little problem with Otterbox Commuter when I had it for my
IPhone6Plus.
Power button was getting pushed frequently with just the accidental touch
of my finger.
So, I replaced it with Otterbox Defender. Defender does not have that
problem, however, its screen protector does not snugly flush with the
screen and leaves some air-pockets here and there, thus you have to tap
very hard at times.
