As I said no pockets of air between screen protector and phone front thus
far with me. One case that I did run into that had a tiny bit of it wasn't
significant enough to impact operation of the device but was easily fixed by
a friend through an even exchange for a better fit.
You'll be glad to know that the holster cradles phone more like the defender
one nothing to match up in order for it to work.

The reason that I find the Griffin Survivor hard to holster with one hand is
that the clip brackets the phone on either side, near the speaker and
charging port. There's little grooves on the case where the clip brackets
The phone. You have to match up The Divet in the case to the clip on the
earpiece side of the phone, and once you match them up, keep pressure on it
while you press the case into the other side of the clip. I think I making
it sound more complicated than it actually is. On the other hand, the
OtterBox defender sort of cradles the landscape side of the phone that's
facing the ground, and you just push on the landscape side of the phone
that's facing up towards your waist at the top of the phone, and the phone
just clicks into place.

and I can report with great joy and gladness that it blocks neither of
those ports at all (smile). As for how easy or difficult it would be to
insert one handed that I didn't test and I suspect that'd be subjective
anyway. But I can say with certainty that both charging and headphone

the belt clip attachment? And if so, does that block access to the
charging port and headphone jack when it's in the clip? The reason I
really liked my old Defender is that it didn't block access to either of
those ports, and the Griffin Survivor that I have now does. Another reason
I like the OtterBox Defender over the Griffin Survivor is that the phone
is a lot easier to put back in the clip one-handed using the OtterBox
Defender.

I had a little problem with Otterbox Commuter when I had it for my
IPhone6Plus.
Power button was getting pushed frequently with just the accidental
touch of my finger.
So, I replaced it with Otterbox Defender. Defender does not have that
problem, however, its screen protector does not snugly flush with the
screen and leaves some air-pockets here and there, thus you have to tap
very hard at times.
