Well, that is interesting. I had not heard that you could completely take your phone or tablet out of the loop, once the stream was going. Unfortunately for me, the things I would like to stream are not cast enabled. That is why I did not purchase the chrome cast. I wanted to use my android devices, of which I have two, although one is kind of old. But since when I would be streaming isn't castable, it didn't make sense. Mary
