I use Audible less now than I did, but there are some books that have a great human reader that are not available through BARD or the CD package costs too much and is Audible usually has the best price on audio books. Plus, their books, listened to with their app, have the best book navigation options of other audio books. Though, as you may have noticed with BARD, they are getting more commercially recorded books in their system. So, I always check BARD first before deciding to buy an Audible book. At this point, I probably read more books from Bookshare using Voice Dream Reader than any other method. Some books just are better with a human reader in my opinion.
Ultimately, it boils down to personal preference if you want human read books and how much you are willing to pay for them.
