I turned off my Audible subscription last summer when I was out of work for a
few weeks, but am considering turning it back on soon, because there are two
books I know they have, that are very well read. That is the major reason I
will resubscribe, some of their readers are very good, similar to the really
good readers NLS had years ago. Always check the audio sample, though. I
checked a book yesterday, and the bard version is actually better read than is
the audible version. I also would use them if a book I wanted simply were not
available anywhere else, which is less the case now that it use to be.

  Subject: why audible?

I have the BARD and Kindle apps on my phone and just purchased VoiceDream to
access my bookshare account. Many of you also talk about Audible. I have
stayed away from this because I figured I could get plenty of reading material
for free or at lower Kindle prices, but I found a deal of 3 months of Audible
for $8.00. Given what I understand the limitations to be on the number of
books you buy each month, what is your thoughts on when to buy a book through
Audible given all the other great ways we can get books on my phone now? I
want to make the most of this trial and figure out how to determine if it’s
worth continuing a subscription.
