I don't even have an icloud mail set up on my phone. I told it to turn that
all off.
I will check to be sure but like I said, don't think I have one as an
option.

Hi Jen,
I had this issue, and it turned out I had a message or two from Apple
in my ICloud mail account, which I didn't even realize was a mailbox
set up on my phone. If you hit the back button when you're in your
Hotmail inbox, you might see the ICloud mail as an option, and then
you can go in there and clear any messages you see.

messages as unread. I have went through all my folders and checked drafts

phone and still no luck in fixing this issue. Please help if you can.
