The back button is perfectly fine, but if I may suggest you practice the scrub gesture, if you can do it reliably it’s so much easier to back out of a message, go back a level if you are two or three levels deep in the settings etc. Many apps support it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying there is anything wrong with using the back button, but I find it’s one of those things which with practice is easy to do and a time-saver. I also know you have an Amazon Echo, but I’ll post a new message with appropriate topic for that question.
