Well, my situation keeps going from bad to worse and then to really bad. It started because I decided to look at my no folder list and see if there were duplicates in there, which there were. There were several what's new files, none of which is relevant except for the most recent. So I deleted those. Then I found apparently two copies of the same book. So I tried to delete one of them. Nothing happened. Both copies were still apparently there. So then I went back to all items and, to my surprise and dismay, I discovered that the only things left in my all items folder or the very same things that are in the know folders folder. In other words, over 900 items just disappeared. They were there before, even though they weren't in folders. I know that because I opened a couple of them, thinking that perhaps they were phantom labels. But the books to which the labels were attached had opened just fine so I just looked in iCloud storage management in settings. And under voice stream there are a couple of folders, one of which is library. And in there, there are 990 lines, each of which has a cryptic number. Double tapping on one of those opens a book interestingly enough. So clearly, I still have a back up with all of my books. But that damned reader isn't seeing it. Now I wonder if there's anyway to restore all this nice backed up material to the actual reader. I am frankly tempted to turn off iCloud sync invoice dream, and then see if there might be a way to restore what is backed up in iCloud. There is no way on gods earth I will ever be able to re-create this library if I can't get access to these 900 and some files that are backed up in iCloud. Mary
