Hi,
When I tried moving braille screen input below words on the 5s,
it would always go right at the top. After about 3 items, speech
refuses, and I repeat, refuses, to tell you where the earth you
are.

Yes, this happened to me too when I was putting braille screen
input at the top.

Reorganizing the items isn't the problem. I listen very
carefully, and stop when the item I'm moving is where I want it.
The trouble starts when things start randomly moving around on
me, particularly an icon that I just moved a few seconds ago. Or
something I moved a little bit ago will suddenly shift position,
or things will randomly become unselected. I know how to
organize the rotor, and things used to work beautifully. I
haven't had to do this from scratch in a very long time, so "i
don't know when things started going absolutely haywire like
this, but it's frustrating me beyond belief! "apple
"accessibility is getting a call today. They really need to know
about this issue.
Thanks,

I don't seem to have any trouble. Under the name of each item
selected is a button to change sort order. If you tap on it, it
will tell you what to do such as hold on and move finger. So you
would move up or down and it should tell you what you are
crossing over. Pay attention to what order things are already in
on the rotor and you will know when to let up. It's just like
moving apps only easier.
You could also unselect everything then select them one at a
time in the order you want them.

Ari! I do hope that you get an answer because I am having a
similar problem: not all the time, but
enough to be a real annoyance.
I have tried just moving the rotor to, sort of halfway between
one option and the next, and that
seems to work for a while, but it would be much better if it
worked all the time.

As you all probably know by now, I just got a new iPhone 6S. I
had to reset my settings to their
defaults on my 4S to be able to back it up to my computer, so
while I have all my apps and whatnot,
I'm having to reset all my settings. Nothing is driving me more
nuts than getting the rotor exactly
the way I want it. Things jump around after I move them' or go
to the top after moving up for a bit,
or to the bottop if I'm moving them down. This is really,
really annoying! "i wish you could just
have move up/down buttons, instead of this dragging to reorder
stuff. It's never really been a
problem until now, though. Am I just going nuts, or have others
experienced this problem with the
rotor? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ari
