Hi all, I recently got my new iPhone 7 Plus. I decided to start out from scratch, hoping that maybe some of the problems I have been having would go away. So I didn't just plug it into my Mac and go right away from my encrypted backup. I started from scratch. And there was nothing at all telling me about voiceover or letting me turn it on or anything. If my sighted husband had not been there, I would have been out of luck. It's been a while since I've tried setting up a device from scratch. But I thought Apple had a way that would let you turn voiceover on right at the beginning of the process. This was missing. What didn't I do that I should've done? It turned out I went ahead and ended up doing my encrypted backup restoration, since the set up from scratch didn't fix any of the problems I had been having and still have. But I was really surprised that there wasn't anything enabling me to start voice over from the get-go. Mary
