Hi, Alan! Thanks for responding. Concerning the native mail app, the three-finger placement on the unread message is great! However, as far as my notifications are concerned, I do have all the apps on in the Notifications app and I'm still not getting them. Maybe it's because I still have my iPhone 6+ and everything is still on it. I'm not going to wipe it clean yet until I get my Music straightened out.
