Hi Esther, The fact you still have your old iPhone does not matter with respect to notifications on your new phone. If set up correctly Notifications should speak. Maybe you can explain exactly which notifications you want and how you want them. Do you want them to show up on the lockscreen and/or in notification centre? Do you want Voiceover to automatically speak them? You may want to check in Voiceover settings for the "Automatically speak notifications" toggle and turn it on if it is off.

However, as far as my notifications are concerned, I do have all the apps on in the Notifications app and I'm still not getting them.
