Hi Chris, As others have pointed out it is no problem to change your Apple Id. Essentially your Apple Id is whatever email address you used when you set it up. The only time it would be a problem is if you absolutely cannot get back into your old account. If you can log in then do what Pablo suggested, log in with your old email address and password, then go to where it says "Change my Apple Id" and register your new email address. I think you will get a confirmation email you have to acknowledge, but it's pretty self-explanatory once you get started.
