If you have space on your phone, that ability not to be dependent on your 
cellular company could be a big deal. It certainly was helpful for us last 
summer when we were traveling. There are places where cell phone coverage just 
isn't. If you got good coverage wherever you go, and a decent data plan, then 
maybe it's not a big deal. The downside is you have to download all of the 
maps. There is also an upside. If you are in a city where they have transit map 
coverage, you get that. I don't think blind square has that, does it? I admit 
I'm more familiar with nearby, and am impressed with the work that APH has done 
and continues to do on this app.
