Hello Sieghard
I read instructions to remove sim cards, batteries etc before returning my
phone after receiving the replacement. Since I was ignorant that I needed the
old sim card for the new phone I thought there might be a battery that needed
removing too! I googled how to extend battery life and got old files. What is
the current thinking on how to save battery life over a long period of months
and years? What I read was to turn the phone off on occasion or when not using
it. I thought I'd read here a long time ago that that is totally unecessary
with the newer lithium batteries.
