I am so accustomed to having coverage no matter where I go and that I wouldn't be able to tolerate not having coverage at the local university or as you say a relatives house. I I know others that use T-Mobile that have this issue as well so I haven't sprung for that. For the most part I'm happy with what I've got. It's not cheap but at some point if I can no longer afford it now pare down the service!
