Hi Sieghard, What you and Steve say is true, but by going by what you say, how come I can answer the phone with the screen locked?! Apparently some functions can be done with the screen locked, but anyways how ever it's doing what it's doing, at least I can now have a sound play and the phone speak at start-up by shutting it down / restarting the way I described. I wonder this too, even if the screen is locked when you press and hold the power button it sort of unlocks to display the “Double tap to power off” message and you have to double tap to do this.
