HI listers,
I love the new feature in mail and other lists, for deleting items. I have a
question though.
I use IMAP for my mail. I was hoping that I could go through my mail on my
iPhone during the day, deleting the messages I didn't want to keep. Then,
when I get home, starting Outlook and have it download the remaining
messages to my computer.

What's happening is that all of the mail, even the ones I deleted on the
phone, are still being downloaded to my computer.

Any way to get my desired result?

Thanks,
Thom

Ramy,

Yes, you swipe down, then double tap and you repeat this for each email you
want to delete. The alternative is the old method which is to double tap on
"Edit" at the top left of the screen, then double tap each email you want to
delete and then double tap once at the bottom left of the screen where it
will say "Delete 8 messages". Note that I just used 8 as an example, it will
indicate whatever number of messages you selected for deletion. I guess if
you have to delete more than 3 or 4 messages this still involves a few less
taps, but I find the new way of flicking down and double tapping to be
extremely convenient and it's very easy and quick to do.

Regards,

Sieghard

Thanks but if I need to delete more than 1 email, must I swipe each time?

You activate delete with a one finger double tap after you swipe down to it.
