Will not comment on anything that has been said in this thread, but Malcolm:
thank you for saying it better than I could have. If I didn't have you all,
(call you to others as my gurus) I wouldn't be the IOS user I am. Thanks to all
of you! Sieghardt and Richard have especially gotten me through some very tight
spots over the years! I need all of you and your expertise to help me be the
best user I can be.

Reggie and Lex
God said, "I need somebody strong enough to pull sleds and find bombs, yet
gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind. Somebody who will spend all
day on a couch with a resting head and supportive eyes to lift the spirits of a
broken heart." So God made a dog.

Hello Mark,

Thanks for your post regarding the recent turbulent post on this group.

I do not normally get involved in what I shall call the politics of any list.
I have moderated lists in the past and it can be a thankless task as you know
only too well.

In the hope of giving a balance to recent events I must say this list has been
a joy to be a member of over the years as well as being informative. I doubt
berry much if I would be as a proficient iPhone user were it not for this list.

None of us are perfect and he who has never made a mistake never made anything.

I find you to be a reasonable man and list moderator. No doubt others will
disagree and criticise me for saying so.

If I unsubscribed from every list where I have disagreed with a post or
moderator’s action my inbox would be a quiet place.

So from one list member who intends remaining as such accept my thanks for a
job well done.

Malcolm
